Beautiful article with pictures for illustrations . Very educative. I will recommend this piece of writing to both students reading Cameroon Hostory and all Cameroonians who are eager to know more about their country.
That’s right! There is a whole lot happening in the country behind the citizen’s back. All we can do is put a strong voice to the exposure, especially of those things that bring our country’s emergence behind its own pace; corruption, theft, injustice and rule outside the law.
Tata owa moto Wa nginya. Congrats for this rich right up. The article is just too timely and a ready tool to address a series of worries. Papa well done.
You are mistaking to say Balondo is an oroko tribe. It is not because we have nothing in common. Whatever we may share with you, we share with other African cultures. Hence, desist from including us when you do not know us, people who shun being associated with you. Good bye.
I understand you are the same Dr Aja Oro, author of Balondo Through the Ages, a pamphlet I read with keen interest to my greatest disappointment. It appears you are the only one who does not see beyond the veil of factionalism as you have fought tooth and nail to disrupt the bond that ties a people to themselves. While Oroko is only a new generic term that describes the Kongo of the Cross River, there is no doubt that its use to denote all people springing from the groins of Ngoe Nambongo is legitimate. Your own Balondo ba Nanga brothers do not shun this belonging. Your adamant adherence to a foreign Calabar heritage has, unfortunately, blinded even your take on the scientific truths that make you an Oroko man.
This is absolutely amazing! Oroko women are adorable. They are amongst the sweetest and well cultured women you can find in Anglophone Cameroon. Meme-Ndian, i salute you! 😍😍
